Celebrate July 4th With Toscano Cigars!

Posted on 2nd Jul 2015

Cigars have been used for centuries to celebrate special occasions such as birthday, wedding, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, and of course, Independence Day which is just around the corner. In general, the Fourth of July is synonymous with cookouts, family, friends, and fireworks. There is no better or more traditional way to celebrate freedom than with a cookout with family and friends during the day, and lighting up a nice cigar underneath a sky dotted with fireworks.

If you’re a cigar enthusiast and throwing a cookout or beach party with family and friends, try Toscanello cigars which are essentially Toscano cigars cut in half. There are different varieties from classic Toscanello, bold Toscanello Speciale to the popular Toscanello Aroma which includes Anice, Caffé, Grappa, Fondente (Dark Chocolate), and Vaniglia (Vanilla). That way, the guests of your party can try out a few different cigars, and you don't have to worry about trying to suit each person's individual taste.

In general, Toscano and Toscanello cigars have an irregular shape because they are cheroots. They are known for their bold, strong flavor. If you want something that will really impress your friends, then you should stock up on Toscano Anno Domini 1492 which is hand-rolled with 100% American Kentucky tobacco from Tennessee both as the wrapper and filler. Alternatively, try Toscano Originale which is also a hand-rolled cigar with American Kentucky tobacco wrapper and a filler blend of Italian and American Kentucky tobacco.

In the past, cigar smoking was only an option for the elite members of society, but now you can enjoy these fine cigars which have been rolled in Italy for 200 years. If you're really in the celebratory mood, try the elusive Toscano Il Moro which is only available for a limited time in a year. The length of Il Moro is 40% longer than regular Toscano cigars, while its diameter measures 25% wider (at ring gauge 50, which is the size of a Gran Corona). Whatever you would be smoking, have a safe and festive Fourth of July marked by great friends, great cigars and a relaxing day!
